More Information
The pandemic has disrupted many aspects of the academic experience, including competitions celebrating STEM. We believe it's more important than ever this year to keep the tradition going with the Central PA Brain Bee. Things will be a bit different this year as the entire competition will take place virtually. Our Brain Bee team will be sure to keep you updated on details of the competition day over the upcoming weeks.
Although it is a competition, the main objective of this event is to educate students about the field of neuroscience and get students interested in this rapidly developing STEM field.

We strongly encourage all students ages 13-19 to register for this competition using the registration link below.
The contest involves three virtual rounds:
1. A comprehensive written exam round.
2. A lab practical round.
3. A clinical diagnosis round.

All aspects of the competition will be virtual.
All the questions are based on information in the free SfN Brain Facts book (2018 edition). The links to the SfN Brain Facts book pdf and the interactive 3D-brain can be found below. The Brain Facts book is also available as an audio book here.
